Wireless Networks and Water Conservation

The below link leads you to a Yahoo News interview and associated article which does a great job of telling in 3.5 minutes what the state and federal governments have been trying to accomplish, in association with the local governments in South West Georgia, to conserve water. Coastal Broadband Inc. is proud to have been a part of the first network of its kind in the nation. You have to suffer through a 30 second advertisement but it is well worth it.

To the right of the video are two links to other interviews and online articles that have been completed on our project. One was done by USA Today.

Coastal Broadband has managed this project from conception to implementation. It has been exciting and will certainly be a huge plus for the environment. Phase II which includes the Wireless Internet connection to the irrigation pivots and farm houses will launch in Q1-09. So stay tuned for more updates.
