As members of the Nahunta First Baptist Church, members from Coastal Broadband took great pride in participating in the monthly food drive at the local church. Local food service providers donate food that has been removed from shelves, but that is still good to the food ministry. Churches from all over the county meet and bag up the groceries. Then they are transported from the distributions site to the churches in Hortense, Waynesville, Hoboken and Nahunta. This process takes a great deal of assistance and timing as some of the items are perishable.
Coastal has two members of management that are members at the Nahunta First Baptist Church and it warms their hearts to be able to support this wonderful program.
